POPPY LISA LINEN BATIK KIMONO -PINK MALIBU

A wonderful, timeless kimono with a free-spirited soul and a little extra magic!

Crafted from 100% pure linen, beautifully hand tie-dyed, with each piece dyed individually to create its own unique batik pattern. No two are ever exactly alike – just the way we love it!

Designed with an effortless open front, relaxed 3/4 sleeves, practical side pockets and raw-cut sleeve and bottom hems for that perfectly undone look.

Adorned with adorable embroidered appliqué patches, including our signature “happiness” appliqués in Hindi. The playful tie bands are finished with beautiful decorative ends, adding that little something extra.

And of course, our signature woven stripe at the bottom hem – a detail you'll find on many of our linen creations. This time, we've taken it one step further with gorgeous embroidered patches on top.

Who said less is more? Certainly not us!

Q & A

MATERIAL Q

How do you produce your fabrics?
We have sourced raw materials from our fabric manufacturers in India since 2004. We dye, print, and embroider everything ourselves.

Do you work exclusively with natural materials?
Yes, we mainly use pure cotton, linen, and silk. Occasionally, we create garments in viscose.

Do you work with multiple suppliers around the world?
No. Apart from our silk supplier in China, everything has been handled in-house by our long-standing and only manufacturer in India since 2004.

WASHING Q

Can your cotton garments be washed at 40°C?
Yes, but we always recommend washing them at 30°C especially our traditionally handprinted block prints.

How should your silk garments be washed?
For a longer lifespan, we recommend hand washing. However, they can also be machine washed on a short, gentle cycle in a laundry bag, using detergent suitable for silk or wool, or olive oil soap.

Is there anything special to consider when washing batik-patterned garments?
Yes, do not leave batik-patterned garments to soak in water.

TIPS FOR A LONGER GARMENT LIFE Q

Wash with care
Wash only when needed and choose a low temperature whenever possible. We recommend washing cotton at 30°C.

Be gentle with delicate fabrics
Silk can often simply be aired between wears. When washing is needed, hand wash whenever possible. If using a washing machine, choose a short, gentle cycle and use a laundry bag. Never soak batik-patterned garments.

Embrace the natural texture
Cotton, linen, and silk can be ironed, but they do not have to be. Leave them unironed for a softer, more relaxed look.

ABOUT US Q

Do you work with external designers?
No. I’m Elina, and I design all of our styles.

How do you collaborate with your manufacturing partner in India?
I spend three months of every year on-site in India. Together with our local team, I develop each new collection: from season to season, year after year.
