A beautifully expressive maxi dress crafted from luxurious 100% silk, individually hand-dyed in a striking black-and-white batik design. The fluid silk drapes beautifully and moves effortlessly with every step, while the dramatic monochrome pattern gives the dress its bold, artistic character.

Every piece is dyed by hand, making each dress completely unique with its own subtle variations in colour and pattern.

The deep wrap-over V-neckline leads into a softly gathered empire-line cut, creating an easy and feminine shape. Wide three-quarter-length sleeves add graceful volume and movement.

Look closely and discover the intricate hand embroidery: delicate stitches and tiny French knots placed across the bodice and skirt. Our signature Hindi “happiness” appliqué patches add a joyful and personal finishing touch.

Q & A

How do you produce your fabrics?
We have sourced raw materials from our fabric manufacturers in India since 2004. We dye, print, and embroider everything ourselves.

Do you work exclusively with natural materials?
Yes, we mainly use pure cotton, linen, and silk. Occasionally, we create garments in viscose.

Do you work with multiple suppliers around the world?
No. Apart from our silk supplier in China, everything has been handled in-house by our long-standing and only manufacturer in India since 2004.

Can your cotton garments be washed at 40°C?
Yes, but we always recommend washing them at 30°C especially our traditionally handprinted block prints.

How should your silk garments be washed?
For a longer lifespan, we recommend hand washing. However, they can also be machine washed on a short, gentle cycle in a laundry bag, using detergent suitable for silk or wool, or olive oil soap.

Is there anything special to consider when washing batik-patterned garments?
Yes, do not leave batik-patterned garments to soak in water.

Wash with care
Wash only when needed and choose a low temperature whenever possible. We recommend washing cotton at 30°C.

Be gentle with delicate fabrics
Silk can often simply be aired between wears. When washing is needed, hand wash whenever possible. If using a washing machine, choose a short, gentle cycle and use a laundry bag. Never soak batik-patterned garments.

Embrace the natural texture
Cotton, linen, and silk can be ironed, but they do not have to be. Leave them unironed for a softer, more relaxed look.

Do you work with external designers?
No. I’m Elina, and I design all of our styles.

How do you collaborate with your manufacturing partner in India?
I spend three months of every year on-site in India. Together with our local team, I develop each new collection: from season to season, year after year.
